I was reading the Farseer Trilogy a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to paint a assassination.
Its not fan art but I like these kind of characters, the ones who isn't looking for fair fights but prefers the use of poisons or daggers in the dark.

But assassination implies the target killin' of high-profile targets. The killin' of a nightwatch just qualifies as plain murder...

What indicated that the victim was a simple guard? Not a high valued target such as a consular, noble, a higher ranked guardsman or just a man involved in something he shouldn't be in, such as witnessing a dangerous political scene which might have been caught by the man responsible for any illegal work that orders a assassin or commits himself to murder this target due to the victim's risk of detaining his objective.

Also assassinating is not simply for targets but to murder (a prominent person) by surprise attack, as for political reasons. Although often given for mercenaries such as assassins to do the dirty work rather than the men who are wishing this upon rivalries.
